Scope of Cover
- Any loss or damage caused to the vehicle due to the following natural and manmade calamities. Natural Calamities – Fire, explosion, self-ignition or lightning, earthquake, flood, typhoon, hurricane, storm, tempest, inundation, cyclone, hailstorm, frost, landslide, rockslide. Manmade Calamities –Burglary, theft, riot, strike, malicious act, accident by external means, any damage in transit by road, rail, inland waterway, lift, elevator or air.
- Personal accident cover: The motor insurance provides compulsory personal accident cover of Rs. 1/2 lakh for individual owner driver of the vehicle insured while travelling in, mounting or dismounting from the vehicle. You can also opt for a personal accident cover for pillion rider and p.a. to passenger.
- Third party legal liability: Protects against legal liability arising due to accidental damages, any permanent injury/ death of a person and/or any damage caused to the property.

Two wheeler & passenger Car Insurance Own Damage Claim – Steps
Claim Steps for Own Damage Claims:
1 :
Take spot photograph of the accident
2 :
Obtain First Information report from police both for accident & theft (if applicable)
3 :
Inform to Insurance Company
4 :
Move the vehicle to garage for repairs and obtain an estimate, submit original and Photocopy of Driver license, R.C Book, Policy, Claim Form and do survey from Surveyor of Insurance Company.
5 :
After getting approval submit the final bill with payment receipt, cancelled cheque copy for NEFT
6 :
Check status or if payment not received within 15 days
Claim Steps for Theft Claim :
1 :
Obtain First Information report from police both for accident & theft within 7 days
2 :
Claim intimation within 7 Days
3 :
After appointed investigator (within 10 days) submit original paper claim form, policy Copy, R.C. Book, D.L. Copy, R.T.O. information letter, F.I.R., original two key, Form no.28, 29 and 30, Subrogation Letter, Intimation Proof & Letter of Indemnity and etc
4 :
Submit final F.I.R. and non-traceable certificate is necessary from police authorities, Cancelled Cheque and KYC for NEFT
5 :
Check the status after few days of submitting all document
Claim Steps for Third Party Claim :
1 :
Intimate the claim by toll free/submit claim from by Reg. A.D
2 :
Court Notice of claim is received either from the third party or from the MACT,
3 :
Court Notice needs to be submitted to the Insurer with complete details related to the Accident
4 :
Insurer will entrust the matter to an advocate
Commercial Vehicle Own Damage Claim – Steps
Claim Steps for damage to the vehicle due to Accidents:
1 :
Take spot photograph of the accident
2 :
Obtain First Information report from police (if applicable)
3 :
Inform Insurance Company and forward request for spot survey (as applicable)
4 :
After spot survey move the vehicle to garage for repairs and obtain an estimate, also Further Requirement for regular survey, submit original and copy documents of Driver License, RC Book, Policy, Claim Form, Fitness Certificate, Permit, Road Chalan, Royalty Weight Slip, and do Survey from surveyor of insurance company
5 :
After getting approval submit final bill with payment receipt, Final F.I.R. (if Applicable) cancel Cheque Copy for NEFT, PAN Card and KYC form

Check status or if payment not received within 15 days.

Submit final F.I.R. and Panchnama with magistrate stamp and sign, non-traceable Certificate is Necessary from police authorities, court summary, cancel cheque and KYC For NEFT, PAN card. Copy

Check the status after 20 days submitting all document
